Neopure and Air Liquide conclude joint testing on 100,000-gallon cooling tower project in Channel View Texas plant. The goal is to replace Sodium hypochlorite and lower insurance cost’s toxicity and corrosion issues related to chlorine. Price savings of up to 50 percent. Pilot project reached all the goals and attacked biofilm issues on chiller and legionella problems using salt water and neohydro equipment. We were able to mimic sodium hypochlorite and surpass its abilities at half the cost. Negotiation are under way for a report and possible second pilot until we come to leasing agreement. Air Liquide has 700 cooling towers in North America alone and many more worldwide.
